my gp said my blood pressure was a bit high when i last saw him but i don't smoke and i'm not overweight so i can't think what's causing it.

Too much red meat, salt, fatty food, anything that tastes goodAlso, stress, lack of exercise, genetics

Risk factors for High blood pressure:Salt, Fatty foods, High cholesterol, Lack of regular aerobic exercise,Age, Overweight, Genetics, Stress.So eat less salt [processed food has a lot of salt] Eat less Fast food---most of it is high in fat.Eat less animal fat, it is high in cholesterol. Wherever possible substitute with vegetable fats [not trans fat though].Don't stress... be happy!Do at least 30 minutes per day of full on aerobic exercise daily. There is nothing you can do about your age or genetics.
